The Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, will early next month host a training on the deployment and management of fibre optic cabling at it’s ICT directorate located inside its main campus.

The Nigerian ICT forum in partnership with Torgue Technologies which made this announcement recently, said the training is for staff in higher education institutions and other relevant agencies.

Organisers have said that this training which will hold for five days will admit only 23 successful applicants who have met certain laid down recommendations.

Information made available indicated that the registration for the training which was open for three weeks has since been closed.

Torgue Technologies with a running ICT academy in the country is one of several private ICT firms which have partnered with the Nigerian ICT forum to carry out up-to-date eTraining on leading ICT issues as it evolves around the world vis avis it’s effect on the country.

The Nigerian ICT forum had made it a mandate to nurture the building of vibrant e-communities through training, innovation and partnerships.
