The peoples democratic party national youth frontiers(PDPNYF) has faulted the report of the screening exercise for Kogi workers, warned the governor to reverse it or face impeachment from the state Assembly
A statement signed by comrade Usman Okai Austin, the coordinator of the group stated that PDP will take advantage of its majority at the assembly to commence impeachment process without further delay
The coordinator of the group expressed worries on the exercise that the idea of the screening had been misconstrued to satanic downsizing, the idea of state declaring a man that has being working for twenty years a ghost worker is unacceptable, it is misnomer and fraud in disguise for the same Governor who was begging the workers and pensioners to exercise patient for him to now come out and declared over sixty percent of the same workers ghost.
He described the act of the government as inhuman, barbaric, insincere, preconceived, premeditated and blatant attempt to create hardship among the Kogi workers
Comrade Okai rejected the kangaroo screening carried out by the governor protege and stooges aimed at satisfying it’s whims and caprices,stressing the need for the governor to tender and unreserved apology to the workers and pay them arrears of ten months salaries
The group claimed to have started reaching out to some Assembly members for necessary next action online and promised to collaborate with stakeholders in Kogi to make the state ungovernable through massive protest for Yahaya Bello if he insists not throwing the report to the dustbin
The PDP youths assured the state workers to continue to resist the pharaoh regime through protest as plans are at advantage stage to invoke the constitutional provision required to exhume the current administration from the seat of governance
He advised labour unions in the state to close ranks not minding any form intimidation and harassment from the government to ensure the report does not see the light of the day
