The President General of Ofuoma Community Development Union, OCDU,  in Ughelli North local government area of Delta State, Mr. Peter Ukpejor, has promised to sustain the prevailing peace and to make frantic efforts to attract infrastructural development to the community.

Ukpejor gave the assurance at Ofuoma community town hall, shortly after he was sworn into office for a three-year term by Chief Duro Afatakpa, which was witnessed by leaders and elders of the community.

Ukpejor, a former secretary general of the community, pleaded for the cooperation of the people to enable him and his executives deliver on their mandate, saying,”our singular priority is to sustain peace and attract the desired development to Ofuoma community.”

He thanked the people of Ofuoma community for the opportunity given his executive to serve, assuring that they will not disappoint the community.

He said ” by the grace of God, the new executives of Ofuoma Community Development Union OCDU, which I am the President General, we shall deliver on the mandate given to us, our singular priority is to sustain peace and attract the desired development to Ofuoma community”
