DUTSE:- Coordinator, Barrister Murtala Isa Abubakar has said that Member, House of Representatives from Jigawa State, Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu, has expended over N183million in the execution of various development projects that have had direct impact on the lives of the people of his constituency.
Speaking to Newsmen over the weekend in Dutse, Barrister Murtala explained that the projects which were spread across the two local government areas of Birnin-Kudu and Buji federal constituency include construction and rehabilitations of daily and Friday mosques and islamiyyas, renting of accommodation for students, procurement of 12 unit of transformers, fencing of mosques, procurement of 300 disable bicycles and motorcycles, among others.
Barrister Murtala Isah stated further that Hon Da’u secured employment for over 150 people of his constituency in various federal institutions which include Nigeria Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense, Navy and Air force, Federal Medical Center among others. “The program will continue….” he noted.
Hon. Magaji Da`u Ali who is representing Birnin-Kudu/Buji federal constituency, according to his coordinator spent the sum of N1.2 million monthly as payment of salary to his 73 legislative aides whom he employed from his constituency to assist him in compiling demands of his people, stressed that “directorate was established and leaders were appointed to manage the affairs which includes health, education, women affairs and community development,” He concluded.
