WARRI—THE nomination of Urhobo-born Engr. Samuel Adjogbe as Executive Director Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has been described as the best thing to happen in Delta State, given his expertise.
Mr. Messiah Omozue, who made the commendation in Warri, yesterday, said: “Adjogbe is a technocrat of high repute which he has proved over the years working at the top level in the oil sector. His choice is a square peg in a square hole.
“As a matter of fact, Adjogbe will perform magic, he is a solution to problems and whoever nominated him is a prophet of development.”
He described as baseless, claims by some ethnic groups that proper zoning was not done.
“President Muhammadu Buhari has eyes for the best. Our problem is not zoning but getting the right people to do the job of resuscitating a dead system. Now that we have a guru, we should be celebrating and not complaining unnecessarily.
“It is ignorance that is making people to raise unnecessary dust. We are all Deltans and Adjogbe is a qualified Deltan. We can’t wait to see him assume duty,” Omozue added.
