Donald Trump
Donald Trump on Wednesday stated that allies must pay more to US or ‘defend themselves’.
Trump also pledged to pursue an “American First” foreign policy if elected president, demanding that allies contribute more to global security.
“America First will be the major and overriding theme of my administration,” he said in a speech outlining his foreign policy.
He also said that halting the spread of Islamic extremism would be a priority of his administration if he is elected president.
“Containing the spread of radical Islam must be a major foreign policy goal of the United States and indeed, the world,” the Republican presidential frontrunner said in a foreign policy speech in Washington.
