Jos—IMMEDIATE past Governor of Plateau State and the Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial zone in the National Assembly, Jonah Jang, yesterday urged those aspiring to contest the State Executive Council, SEC, of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP election to ensure they play by the rule and desist from act capable of tearing the party in the state apart.
The former governor insisted that as a loyal party man, he had no preferred candidate among the aspirants but would work with whoever emerged in whatever position to reposition the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Speaking in Jos through one of his aides, Clinton Garuba on the heels of the controversy trailing the purported zoning of positions among aspirants in the 17 local government areas of the state, he said those who had the genuine desire to rebuild the party should ensure they put the party first.
