Have faith in Okowa, Delta Majority Leader urges constituents

BOMADI—Deputy Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Kenneth Preyor, has urged his constituents to have maximum faith in Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s government, which promises prosperity for all Deltans, both during and after his political campaigns.

Preyor, who represents Bomadi constituency, in his Easter message, noted that Governor Okowa’s determination to fulfill his electioneering promises were glaring in his skill acquisition and youth empowerment programmes in the state, as he urged Deltans and people of Bomadi constituency in particular to show support for the government.

He stressed that the prosperity agenda of the government was very much on course which would arrive the target point.

On the harsh economy, the lawmaker enjoined his constituents to work hard and endeavour to be self-reliant, noting that the economic recession was not a new phenomenon, expressing the hope that the country would transit from it.

“Empires and nations all over the world sometimes in their histories are bound to experience this kind of situations. When it happens, it behooves on such persons or countries to look inwards and work harder. It is not the end of life. So, I enjoined everybody to work harder and try to be independent, and learn to be resourceful,” he said.
