Nigerian secondary school students have been charged on the need to cultivate and sustain the habit of patrotism so as to move the nation forward.
Speaking at the 10th edition of the ‘We Are The Future Of The Nation’, WATFON, themed ‘I Believe in Nigeria’ and organised by Edumark, wife of the immediate past governor of Lagos State, Dame Abimbola Fashola, a Soil Mechanic expert and founder of Fight Against Desert Encroachment FADE, Sir Newton Jibonuh, Mr. Tonye Cole, among others, said patriotism and hardwork are needed for success.

How much love can we show our nation? Is it that Nigeria isn’t doing enough for us to love her or we are not doing enough for our Nigeria?
Dame Fashola said “you are a stakeholder in what Nigeria becomes tomorrow, therefore where ever you find yourselves, you must possess empathy, leadership skills, among other attributes. You must carry the badge of Nigeria with pride because no other country would love Nigeria if you don’t love her.
Also speaking, the host of WATFON and founder of Edumark, Mrs Yinka Ogunde said, “our youths should not let those who haven’t done it tell them it can’t be done; the tide is changing for the better and the are our hope for a Nigeria we can be proud of.
