Commenting on the upcoming summit, Hon. Ezinwa who is also the Chairman of Independent Petroleum Marketers of Nigeria (IPMAN) in the South East geo-political zone, described it as a worthwhile venture that would open up a lot of business opportunities in the state and expand the scope of indigenous businesses critical for the sustenance of the economic growth of the state in view of the harsh economic situation.

The Chairman said that the governor has through the planned summit demon-strated once again his commitment to the promise he made to the people of the state to look inward and harness those potentials which free oil money has denied the state from exploiting. He stressed that the event will help the indigenous business entrepreneurs to grow as well as link them to foreign investors.

“I thank God for Governor Ugwuanyi, for this initiative. When I read through his manifesto, I knew he will perform. When he set up the Economic Advisory team, I said yes, Enugu State has come to make a mark. I commend the governor for the bold initiative to attract investors and put the state on the pipeline of revenue generation for sustainable economic growth and development”, said Ezinwa.

Hon. Ezinwa said that as an entrepreneur, he will mobilize his indigenous business associates to the international summit to ensure that it succeeds, adding that the event is a great opportunity for Nigerian business moguls to showcase their potentials to the outside world and assist the state government in telling the world that Enugu State is ready for business.

While calling on the governor to remain steadfast and committed to his investment drive and development initiatives, the Transition Chairman also called on the investors to come and participate in the all-important summit, assuring them of a conductive business environment in the state.
