PORT HARCOURT – Three persons were shot dead Thursday night by suspected cultists in Isiokpo community , Ikwerre local government area.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Muhammad confirmed the ugly development but said details were sketchy.

Vanguard gathered that the rampaging cultists stormed the community in military uniform shooting sporadically.

They also reportedly set some houses ablaze.

This development came on the heel of similar killing of about 16 persons by suspected cultists in Ula Opata, Ahoada East local government area on Wednesday
