Enugu Rangers defender, Matthew Etim, has been called up to the Nigerian camp as they prepare for the second leg game against Burkina Faso in the 2016 Chan qualification this weekend.

Etim takes the place of Warri Wolves defender, Solomon Kwambe, who has had to be left out of the squad after he crocked up in Saturday’s 2-0 win over the Stallions of Burkina Faso at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

“Solomon Kwambe has had to pull out of the trip to Burkina Faso unfortunately due to injury. He will be replaced by Rangers defender, Matthew Etim,” Super Eagles spokesman, Toyin Ibitoye, told supersport.com on Monday.

The story of Kwambe’s replacement, however, broke on the Super Eagles official Twitter and the Warri Wolves man has expressed sadness at missing out of the trip to Burkina Faso.
