Lagos West Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the March 28 senatorial election, Mr. Segun Adewale yesterday, closed his case, urging the tribunal to declare him winner.

Adewale, popularly known as Aeroland testified before the three-man tribunal headed by Justice Sylvanus Orji.

He told the Lagos State National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Ikeja that the election was rigged for the All Progressives Congress APC’s candidate, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, declared winner by INEC.

He had in his petition prayed the tribunal to nullify the declaration of Senator Adeola popularly known as Yayi as winner of the March 28, 2015 election.

He brought nobody to support his claim.

Being cross examined by counsel to Adeola (Yayi), APC and INEC, Adewale insisted that he won the election, adding the result got from the agent coupon from his agents clearly showed that he won the election.
