Minna—There was a mild drama at the official commissioning of the multimillion Naira building materials market named after late Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Gen. Mamman Kontagora when the recently impeached Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Mr Adam Usman and the new Speaker, Alhaji Isah Kawu met at the function.

The former Speaker came into the venue of the function alone without any of the former principal officers who were removed along with him during an alleged impeachment exercise while Kawu came into the arena later along with the new principal officers of the House.

Protocol officers who were confused at the development quickly created another space for the new Speaker and his men but far away from Usman.

They also used their wisdom and played safe by not placing either of the former and present Speakers next to the Governor as it had been the tradition in the past.
