The Senate, Tuesday mandated its Committee on Defence to meet the Military High Command to unravel the identities of the people behind the alleged killing of over 50 people in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The Senate also condemned the alleged invasion of the community that led to the displacement of several hundreds of the people.

The resolution of the Senate for its Defence Committee to meet the Military High command was as a result of the Point of Order on matter of urgent importance raised by Senator Victor Lar, representing Plateau South Constituency.
