ABUJA – Members of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC are in a crucial meeting to take decision on the names that will make the list of transition Committee.
It was learnt that the President-Elect, General Mohammadu Buhari gave directive for the meeting.
It will be recalled that Buhari over the week in Daura, Katsina State said that he would want well experienced and knowledgeable technocrats to make the list.
The NWC led by the national chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun has been locked up in the meeting that started very early in the day.
A source privy to the meeting disclosed to Vanguard that another issue being discussed in the closed door meeting was power-sharing formula.
It will also be recalled that the federal government has moved to set its own transition committee, saying it would ensure a hitch-free handover on May 29
