ASABA—National leadership of Aniocha/Oshimili Youth Assembly has expressed its total support for the electoral victory of all Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidates in the coming general elections.

Speaking to newsmen in Asaba at the end of an enlarged meeting of the group, its National Coordinator, Hon. Louis Ndukwe urged its members and all eligible voters in the state to obtain the Permanent Voters Cards to enable them deliver their choice candidates at the polls.

Ndukwe who gave a brief history of the political evolution of PDP in Delta State disclosed that Chief Nwaoboshi and a few of his political friends and associates including the former governor, Chief James Ibori formed the defunct Grassroots Democratic Movements, GDM, which later metamorphosed into what is today known as the PDP in Delta State.
