The grassroots-meet-the-women campaign tour of the wife of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio, yesterday, recorded a huge success in Oruk Anam, Ukanafun, Etim Ekpo and Ika as the women of the areas assured the governor’s wife that their permanent voter’s cards, PVC, were all intact to vote PDP.

Those who spoke at the Ikot Ibritam council headquarters, venue of the campaign rally for Oruk Anam, representatives of the women including the wife of the council chairman, Mrs. Edima Anthony Akpan; wife of the deputy speaker, Lady Ime Kierian; and wife of the paramount ruler of the area Obongawan, Lady Owoto, among others.

In their goodwill messages, the chairman of Oruk Anam, Mr. Anthony Akpan and a political chieftain of the area, Sir. Vitalis Unang, the Special Adviser, Bureau of Labour and Public Service Matters, Mr. Godwin Udom, vowed that Oruk Anam was behind PDP.
