ASABA—AHEAD of the February 28 governorship election, the Ndokwa Political Elites has thrown its weight behind the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, flag bearer in Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, describing him as the most qualified candidate for the job.

Speaking to newsmen on behalf of the group at a rally in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of the state, a former governorship aspirant, Chief Johnson Opone, hailed the victory of Senator Okowa at the primaries.

He added that Okowa was a tested politician who would live up to expectations. Opone expressed optimism that the party would win massively in all the positions in the elections.

Also speaking, the Publicity Secretary of the group, Mr. Godspower Ogege, said that the group would embark on door to door campaign for the PDP.
