By Onoja Innocent

BOMADI—Niger Delta ex-militants have congratulated the flag bearer for Bomadi constituency at the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, primaries in Delta State, Mr. Pius Labo, describing him as a square peg in a square hole.

Delta State Chairman, Phase 2 of the Amnesty Programme, Mr. Kingsley Muturu, in a statement, said that the indigenes of Bomadi Local Government Area under the 2nd Phase Amnesty have commended the party for the peaceful conduct of the primaries at Bomadi.

The ex-militants also extolled the virtues of the lawmaker representing Patani/Bomadi federal constituency, Mr. Nicholas Mutu, saying he was a light for politicians to emulate, considering his disposition to work hard for his constituents.

The group noted that Mutu’s performance index was a pointer to good leadership as former militants were supporting his ambition to re-contest the National Assembly election.
