InfoWARE: African companies should aggregate critical information to attract investments

By Florence Amagiya

The inability to aggregate critical information, inability to monitor markets and portfolios in real time, inability to measure the effects of market risk and potentials are all major factors said to have contributed in undermining African companies from attracting huge investments.

This is the position of CEO, Infoware Solutions, Mr. Uwa Agbonile.

Agbonile said that after careful research on this issue, he discovered that the Sub Saharan African market is continually evolving.

He quoted the IMF World Economic Outlook database of 2012, to say that Stock market

capitalization in Africa is worth around $1.05 trillion, yet Africa only controls less than 3% of global GDP and believes that the need has arisen to also connect to employees, customers, business partners, and markets via an open and secure environment as a prerequisite to success.

For him, “Investment success is all about information. Not just any information, though; you need the right data, at the right time, in the right context. Raw data is not enough. InfoWARE Market Data Terminal(IMDT) is a robust, user-friendly Terminal that offers  a combination of a full-depth order book where traders can see all the trades at any given time‚ as well as detailed African content and market data across multiple asset classes and exchange in the Sub-Saharan Market that matches and exceeds offerings from Bloomberg and Reuters but at a much lower price point.

IMDT provides Greater flexibility by delivering information at point-of-need without compromising performance.

InfoWARE MDT gives you the competitive differentiation you need to breathe

new life into your business.”
