NSCDC commandant tasks cooperative societies on transparency

THE Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC,  Dr. Ade Abolurin has urged the leaders of NSCDC Cooperative Society in all the states of the federation, to be resolute and firm in their dealings. He charged them to shun all acts of corruption and maintain integrity and credibility in their transactions.

Abolurin who addressed executive members of NSCDC Cooperative Society at a two-day seminar organised by the National Headquarters Cooperative Society, said the government has created a soft landing policy for personnel and cooperative members to have their own houses, vehicles and property.

According to him, the essence of the Cooperative Society is to avail the members of their dividends and proceeds from the revenue of business conducted through out the year.
He declared that there will be zero tolerance for compromise and corruption in the organisation.
President of the Society, Mr. Abi David said  the organisation is built upon the foundation of credibility and integrity.
