Osi Ekiti monarch, HRH Oba Stephen Adegboyega Alabi has congratulated Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his re-election for second term as the Executive Governor of the state.

In a statement issued to newsmen at the weekend, the first class monarch said, “Your victory at the polls is not merely a personal achievement; it is a clear demonstration of the confidence and trust that the good people of this state have reposed in your leadership.

“It is a mandate renewed by the people who believe in your vision, your commitment, and your unwavering dedication to the development of our state.

According to Oba Alabi, “As traditional institutions, we recognize and appreciate the cordial relationship that has existed between your administration and the traditional rulers across the state. Your respect for our cultural heritage and your willingness to engage with traditional institutions have strengthened peace, unity, and community development.”

“Your Excellency, the task ahead is even greater than the one behind you. The people have entrusted you with another opportunity to consolidate on the remarkable achievements of your first term. We are confident that your administration will continue to prioritise good governance, infrastructural development, quality education, accessible healthcare, youth empowerment, security, agriculture, and economic prosperity for all citizens.

Oba Alabi said, “On behalf of the Traditional Council and the entire people of our kingdom, I assure you of our continued prayers, cooperation, and unwavering support as you embark on this second phase of your administration. Together, we shall continue to work towards building a peaceful, united, and prosperous state where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive.

He prayed: “May the Almighty God grant you wisdom, strength, sound health, and divine guidance as you discharge the responsibilities entrusted to you. May your tenure bring greater peace, progress, and lasting prosperity to our dear state.

Oba Alabi concluded: “Once again, Your Excellency, congratulations on your well-earned re-election,” praying “May your second term be more impactful, more successful, and more memorable than the first.”
