…says world needs God’s power to solve daunting challenges

ABUJA – Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, on Wednesday, stormed Abuja to start a six-day Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, along with other side-programmes.

Kumuyi made this known shortly after he arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, in the early hours of Wednesday, while fielding questions from journalists.

Meanwhile, the Global Crusade with the theme ‘Christ Wonder Working Power’ holds from June 24 to 25 at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Kado, Abuja, before moving to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium from June 26 to 29.

He said: “God has prospered the world, as I said, this is God at work, this is not man, it’s not a one-man show, what can man do in all the millions of problems we have in the world, and now we are here in Abuja and FCT.

“We are planning big, living big, and talking big, but as we pray, we are trusting the Lord that He is the one to bring solutions and answers to the prayers we pray.”

Speaking on current challenges said the current challenges confronting Nigeria and other countries the international evangelist said it demands God’s divine intervention, because human efforts are limited and cannot solve them; hence, leaders in positions to govern the country are to involve God in the problems.

“We, as I said, sometimes you talk, and it is not what you say, sometimes, that is heard here but we are trusting that God will make our people, our leaders, policy makers, hear what we need to hear, and it is not just hearing, God will help them to work on what we are all hearing together, so that we can make our nation, and our country, Africa, and the world, a better place to live”, he said.

He also expressed optimism that when leaders look up to God and allow Him to do what He has in mind, most of the challenges will be addressed, saying, “God can do it.”

This is the first Global Crusade the Converter of GCK will be holding after he clocked 85 years on June 6, 2026, and he will be holding the GCK also at Gboko and Oturkpo, all in Benue State on June 30, 2026.
