Travel firm unveils West Africa tourism expedition

KEJOJAN Travels & Tours has unveiled a new tourism initiative aimed at promoting regional integration, cultural exchange, and economic development across Africa.

The inaugural expedition will take participants on a journey from Lagos, Nigeria, to Accra, Ghana, from August 13–17, 2026, offering opportunities to explore key historical sites, cultural attractions, and business environments within West Africa.

According to the organisers, the initiative is part of a broader vision to encourage Africans to explore the continent. Future expeditions are planned for Benin Republic, Togo, Senegal, The Gambia, Egypt, and other strategic destinations across Africa.

The programme is expected to bring together travellers, entrepreneurs, professionals, students, tourism stakeholders, and cultural enthusiasts, creating opportunities for cultural discovery, networking, education, and economic engagement.

Industry stakeholders have welcomed the initiative as a timely contribution to the growth of intra-African tourism and regional cooperation. The expedition is also expected to support local economies through tourism, hospitality, transportation, and community-based activities.
