Media entrepreneur and television presenter, Kachi Offiah, has unveiled a new long-form conversation podcast titled Open Spaces, a reflective platform focused on faith, purpose, identity and personal transformation.

The podcast, produced by Lagos-based communications and production company, KAVITAH, explores defining moments in people’s lives when they step into purpose through uncertainty, reinvention and growth.

Rooted in the biblical inspiration of Genesis 26:22 — “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land” — Open Spaces is designed to document emotional, spiritual and creative transitions through honest and introspective conversations.

Speaking on the vision behind the project, Offiah described the platform as a space created to capture life-changing moments and the journey of becoming.

“Open Spaces was created to document the moments in our lives when everything shifts, when we leave behind what is familiar and step into who we are becoming. It is about clarity, courage and the willingness to trust the process of growth,” she said.

The series will feature conversations with notable voices across culture, film, media and faith, focusing on personal experiences rather than celebrity status or entertainment gossip. According to Offiah, the goal is to create meaningful conversations that resonate deeply with audiences navigating transition and self-discovery.

She also noted that the podcast reflects a shift in her own creative priorities away from chasing trends and virality toward producing intentional and value-driven content.

“I have worked on shows before and chased virality; it is exhausting. Virality is temporary. What I am focused on now is value. I want this podcast to reach the people it is meant for,” she stated.

Offiah added that Open Spaces offers audiences a more intimate perspective of her beyond television and social media.

“People know the workaholic version of me on TV and social media, but they do not always know why I am the way I am. This podcast shows that deeper layer,” she said.

Produced in Lagos, the series blends storytelling with introspection, creating what the organisers describe as “a calm and intentional space” for conversations that are both personal and relatable in today’s fast-paced world.

New episodes of Open Spaces will be released every Wednesday at 12 noon on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
