The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries has unveiled plans for its 2026 Annual General Conference, with a strong focus on post-centenary reforms and spiritual revival within the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
Speaking at a press conference, on Thursday the Founder, Her Grace Iya Aladura General, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, said the conference, themed “Revive Us O Lord,” would address the future of the church following its centenary celebration, with a view to repositioning it for greater impact.
The three-day conference is scheduled to hold from May 7 to May 9, 2026, at The New Seraph Prayer City, Ode Remo, Ogun State.
According to her, the gathering will serve as a platform for critical reflection and strategic planning within the church.
“Conferences are for deliberations towards reviewing our past, our present, and to chart a new course for the future,” she said.
Highlighting the significance of the centenary milestone recorded by the Cherubim and Seraphim Church last year, Yomi-Sholoye noted that the anniversary calls for renewed commitment to growth and transformation.
“For a church to have existed for 10 decades and is still waxing stronger, this is the Lord’s doing. However, the question now is: what are we doing in shaping the future of the church post-centenary?” she asked.
She explained that the 2026 conference would bring together renowned speakers and panelists from across the church to deliberate on key issues and recommend actionable steps.
“We intend to achieve a paradigm shift. For us to move as a church, it is our collective responsibility to ensure there is a positive shift in all we do,” she stated.
The cleric added that evangelism remains central to the ministry’s mandate, in line with the vision of the founder of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase.
“Our commission as a body of Christ is to evangelise and uphold the mandate of our founder,” she said.
In addition to the conference, the ministry also unveiled the 8th edition of its global prayer programme, Night of Divine Experience (NODE 8.0), scheduled for August 19 to August 21, 2026.
Describing NODE as a “prophetic altar,” Yomi-Sholoye said the programme has recorded significant spiritual impact over the years.
“NODE has become a prophetic altar where destinies are rewritten, yokes are broken, and the fire of revival is rekindled across nations. From NODE 1.0 to 7.0, we have seen countless testimonies,” she said.
She disclosed that this year’s edition would feature 72 hours of non-stop prayers, worship, teachings, and humanitarian outreach, with over 300,000 physical participants expected, alongside millions joining virtually.
The conference is expected to attract dignitaries from various sectors, including government representatives, traditional rulers, and religious leaders.
Pastor Festus B. Taiwo will serve as the main guest speaker, while other panelists include Apostle Olaitan Oloruntoyin, Apostle Dr. Oke Raphael, Bro. Dayo Oyewo, and Rev. Taiwo Akinmoladun.
Yomi-Sholoye assured prospective participants of adequate security and logistics arrangements.
“We have put in place measures to ensure a secure and conducive environment for all delegates coming from across the country,” she said.
She also noted that provisions had been made for participants in the diaspora to join virtually through The New Seraph TV and other digital platforms.
Calling on the media to support the initiative, she urged journalists to give the events adequate coverage.
“This is another opportunity for us to move the Cherubim and Seraphim Church forward. We urge you to be part of this journey and also grace our conference and NODE 8.0,” she added.
