Over 1,000 youths from Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu (U3) Federal Constituency have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Francis Waive for re-election in 2027, commending their “exemplary performance in office.”
The endorsement came during a youth summit held at T’Nero’s Place (Sakpra Hall), DSC Township, Udu Local Government Area, which brought together young people from across the U3 constituency for empowerment and political engagement.
Waive, who presented a report of his stewardship, thanked the youths for their unwavering support and assured them of more empowerment initiatives, noting that youth-focused projects had already been captured in the 2025 budget.
“We have future leaders among us—those who will one day become governors and senators,” Waive said. “Our empowerment initiative is included in the 2025 budget, and those here today will be among the first beneficiaries.”
He commended Governor Oborevwori for sustaining the Federal Medical Centre, Udu, and reaffirmed support for President Tinubu, citing progress on the Benin–Effurun road. “I salute my Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, for his humility and support. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also deserves our continued backing to deliver on his promises,” he said.
Olorogun John Oguma, a Delta APC chieftain, declared, “There is no vacancy in Aso Rock or Government House in Delta. With the youths solidly behind Waive, no one can stop them.”
Ejiro Hope, U3 Youth National Leader, described the summit as “Youth O’clock,” emphasising empowerment over politics. He later presented Waive with an award as “Most Friendly House of Representatives Member,” while other leaders urged youths to remain united and register to vote.
