Benin City, Edo State – The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with STOWPOINT Services Limited, has launched a two-week Vocational Training and Empowerment Program on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Repair for youths in Edo State.
The program, which commenced on Monday, February 23, 2026, will run until March 6, 2026, and is designed to train 50 participants.
The initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with hands-on skills in refrigeration and air conditioning repair, enhancing their employability and creating opportunities for entrepreneurship within the energy sector.
According to organizers, the training will also contribute to the growth and development of Nigeria’s refrigeration and air conditioning industry by building a skilled workforce capable of meeting both local and national demands.
Participants are expected to gain practical knowledge that can enable them to start their own businesses or secure employment in technical roles across various industries.
