By Shina Abubakar, Osogbo
Osun State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Mr Sunday Akere has disclosed that the group would mobilise electorates in the State with a view to delivering one million votes towards President Bola Tinubu re-election bid.
Speaking at the inauguration of Local Government Areas Renewed Hope Ambassadors across the State on Tuesday, Akere said the team would begin sensitization of the populace on the achievement of the Renewed Hope administration led by President Tinubu.
Akere disclosed that part of the responsibility of the Ambassadors is to go back to their wards, inaugurate ten Ambassadors at each units with a view to spreading the positive impacts of President Tinubu’s renewed hope policies.
Addressing the newly inaugurated Ambassadors, he said, “your mandate is to engage on political mobilization, political outreach and political engagement. You must sensitize and let everybody know whether they are party member or not, the achievements of the President Tinubu’s administration.
“If we penetrate the nooks and crannies of the State, we are looking delivering nothing less than a million votes for the President here in Osun. We have almost two million registered voters in Osun and it is very sad that when we have elections we always have less than 500,000 people voting. That is why we want them to go to the grassroots and mobilize the people, do the outreach and engage the people so that the President will have minimum of a million votes in the State”.
“The first way to test our strength is with the Osun State governorship election on August 8 this year. We want to deliver the State for the APC by making Mr Bola Oyebamiji the governor and then, the President next year”.
Also, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Southwest Coordinator, Senator Adedayo Adeyeye while fielding questions from newsmen said the LG Coordinators’ duty is to propagate the achievement of the President to all the corners of the State.
“They must let the people be aware of what he is doing. I am assuring you that President Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election by landslide. Our concern is the margin of victory and we want it to huge”, he said.
Also speaking, Mr Bola Oyebamiji said he has been involved in mobilising virgin voters to troop out en mass to register ahead of the August 8, 2026 and the general elections next year.
His words, “I have been moving around the local government for the past four weeks to unite our party, not to campaign but to just inform our members why it is necessary for us to prepare for the August 8,2026 election.
“I had to spread the goodwill of our President Bola Tinubu, so that our people will know what the President has achieved in the last three years”, he added.
