Hello Labs to host Future Forward Conference 2026

As Africa accelerates into a technology-driven future, the conversation is no longer about if innovation will shape the continent’s growth, but how intentionally it will be done. Standing at the intersection of culture, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology is Future Forward Conference 2026, a flagship innovation event powered by Hello Labs, set to take place in Bauchi State.

Future Forward Conference is designed as a large-scale platform to empower entrepreneurs, business leaders, young innovators, policymakers, and communities with the practical knowledge and strategic insight required to thrive in the digital economy. With the 2026 theme, “Culture to Code: Building the Future from Our Roots,” the conference seeks to demonstrate how Africa’s cultural identity can coexist with, and even strengthen, technological advancement.

Future Forward is not a new concept. Since its inception, the initiative has recorded measurable success across Northern Nigeria. In 2025, Future Forward Jos and Future Forward Bauchi trained and empowered hundreds of business owners, students, and young professionals, equipping them with practical skills in artificial intelligence, digital business strategy, and innovation thinking.

In addition, Hello Labs partnered with the Plateau State Government to deliver an International Youth Day Tech & Leadership Training, focused on equipping young people with future-ready digital and leadership skills. Across these engagements, over 3,000 individuals have been directly trained, mentored, or exposed to applied technology knowledge, positioning them for improved employability, entrepreneurship, and business growth.

These milestones have established Future Forward as more than a one-off event—it has become a growing movement focused on building Africa’s innovation capacity from the grassroots.

The Future Forward Conference 2026 represents a major scale-up. Planned as a two-day high-impact conference at the Bauchi International Conference Center, the event is expected to host 3,000 to 5,000 participants, making it one of the largest technology and innovation gatherings in Northern Nigeria.

The conference will feature keynote sessions, technical workshops, panel discussions, cultural showcases, and a special Founder’s Night—an exclusive engagement for CEOs and business executives focused on leadership, growth, and enterprise structuring. Participants will gain exposure to emerging trends in artificial intelligence, the future of work, digital entrepreneurship, and the role of policy in shaping innovation ecosystems.

A key differentiator of the conference is its inclusive stakeholder model. The event brings together government officials, legislators, financial institutions, private enterprises, SMEs, students, community leaders, NGOs, and religious organizations, creating a rare space for cross-sector collaboration.

At the core of the Future Forward Conference is Hello Labs, an AI research, product development, and innovation company focused on leveraging technology for business growth and socio-economic development across Africa.

Speaking on the vision behind the conference, Ishaya Levi, Head of Operations at Hello Labs, emphasized that the initiative is intentionally designed to move beyond theory.

“Future Forward is about practical impact. We are focused on helping people understand how technology—especially artificial intelligence—can be applied immediately to businesses, governance, and everyday problem-solving. Our goal is to position Northern Nigeria as a credible innovation corridor within Africa.”

Under Levi’s operational leadership, Hello Labs has consistently delivered programs that blend technical depth with accessibility, ensuring participants leave with actionable knowledge rather than abstract concepts.

As Africa continues to navigate economic transformation, initiatives like Future Forward Conference 2026 offer a compelling blueprint for inclusive growth—one that respects cultural heritage while embracing technological progress.

With strong partnerships, a proven impact record, and a clear vision for the future, Future Forward Conference 2026 is poised to become a defining moment for innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation in Northern Nigeria and beyond.
