Ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Bola Tinubu in Delta State, have solicited increased support for the people-centred reforms of the Federal Government.
State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Funkekeme Solomon, made the call when he visited the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Prof Epiphany Azinge, SAN.
Solomon, a former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, now Senior Policy Adviser to the Delta State Governor, said the Tinubu administration was committed to improving the welfare and well-being of Nigerians through the instrumentality of the Renewed Hope Initiative.
He noted that though things appeared rough for the citizens at the inception of the Tinubu administration in 2023, the President had been able to introduce reforms already impacting positively on the people, expressing confidence that Nigerians would sooner than later experience more reliefs from the challenges facing the country.
He remarked that President Tinubu’s priorities remained promoting development, unity, and progress in Nigeria, pointing out that his administration had rolled out policies to stabilise the economy, attract foreign investment, and promote growth, while investing in critical infrastructure to improve the business environment and quality of life for citizens.
Responding, Asagba, Prof Azinge thanked the team for the visit, noting that their mandate was critical to sensitising Nigerians on the efforts of the Tinubu administration to better their lot and restore hope for a better tomorrow.
The monarch expressed satisfaction with the steps so far taken by government to fix the challenges of the country, stressing, however, that a lot still needed to be done to improve security and the quality of life of Nigerians.
He recalled that he had an audience with the President sometime in March last year and raised concerns about issues affecting the Asaba community, some of which had yet to be addressed.
and called on him to reconsider the pending issues.
He assured the team of the support of the palace, going forward.
