John Eni-Ibukun is a Nigerian creative practitioner whose work spans visual art, music, and writing, shaped by his upbringing and experiences within Nigeria’s urban and cultural environment.

Born on June 13, 1997, in Lagos, Nigeria, Eni-Ibukun grew up in Ikorodu, Lagos, in a Christian household. His parents were involved in the fields of education and healthcare, influences that contributed to his early exposure to structured learning and community-oriented values.

He received his secondary education at Federal Government College, Ikole-Ekiti, in Ekiti State, and later attended Joseph Ayo Babalola University in Osun State, where he completed his tertiary education and graduated in November 2024. During his university years, he began to actively explore creative expression, developing interests in art, music, and writing.

Eni-Ibukun’s creative work is informed by his Nigerian heritage and experiences growing up in Lagos. His practice often reflects themes drawn from urban life, cultural identity, and contemporary society, blending traditional African influences with modern artistic approaches.

In recent years, he has participated in various creative projects, including collaborations with other artists and involvement in curatorial and multidisciplinary initiatives within Nigeria’s creative sector. His work forms part of the broader landscape of contemporary Nigerian art and culture.

Eni-Ibukun continues to develop his practice as a multidisciplinary creative, working across different mediums while maintaining a focus on themes connected to his cultural and social environment.
