Hon. (Engr.) Abass Braimah is a Nigerian politician and professional engineer. He was born on the 29th. September, 1969, and hails from the Etsako West Local Government Area (LGA) of Edo State.

He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin (1990), Edo State, followed by a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja.

He is a former member of the House of Representatives (6th National Assembly), where he served creditably well as Chairman, House Committee on Privatisation and Commercialisation.

A respected professional, thoughtful and insightful leader, Hon. Braimah is a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), the Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) and the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN). He is also a COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) certified member.

He is happily married to Dr Ogochukwu Braimah, a distinguished medical practitioner, and together, they are proud parents of three beautiful children.
