Port Harcourt — Krystal 12 Limited, in partnership with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has successfully concluded a Capacity Building Training on Oil Spill Response and Crisis Management in Port Harcourt.
The program aimed to enhance participants’ skills in managing oil spills and crises, promoting sustainability and environmental protection in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

The training covered key areas including oil spill containment and recovery techniques, environmental remediation, and crisis management. Participants also took part in hands-on exercises and simulations designed to prepare them for real-world scenarios.

Engr. Prince Zubai, representing NCDMB at the event, urged participants to make the most of the opportunity, emphasizing the importance of applying the knowledge and skills gained to improve environmental safety and operational efficiency in the oil and gas industry.
Krystal 12 Limited’s Managing Director, Jalil Usaman, expressed gratitude to NCDMB, led by Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, for supporting and facilitating the training. Usaman also lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to developing the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.
The NCDMB continues to lead efforts in local content development and capacity building, with initiatives such as the Oil and Gas Field Readiness Training Program expected to benefit over 10,000 Nigerians, strengthening the nation’s workforce and enhancing industry sustainability.
