The first annual Greensprings Kanu Football Camp has received the official support of the Lagos State Football Association.
Speaking during the official launch of the camp recently, the FA Vice-Chairman, Tade Azeez lauded the school for initiating such laudable project, saying this would go a long way in complimenting their efforts at unearthing talents from schools.
Azeez, who represented the State Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Social Development, Wahid Oshodi, believes the involvement of Super Eagles former captain, Nwankwo Kanu would help to drive the project.
“I want to commend Greensprings for helping us to do our job. This kind of initiative is a laudable especially coming from a school like Greensprings.
“For us at the FA, we will support the camp with some of our coaches, while we are also looking into future partnership with the school,” he said.
