‘Boko Haram’: Police in Rivers call for vigilance

Port Harcourt – Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr. Mohammed Indabawa, has enjoined people of the state to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement to security operatives.

Indabawa, who spoke on the recent threat by ‘Boko Haram’ to bomb some media houses in the country, urged residents to see security as a shared responsibility.

He appealed to media houses in the state to beef up security around their premises, adding that they should help sensitise the public on the need to be vigilant.

On the six policemen who  beat  a mobile policeman to coma, weekend, at Eleme Roundabout  because he resisted their move to extort a commercial bus driver, the Police boss said they had been arrested and were being investigated.
