Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Tobi graduated with First-Class Honors in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. His

During this time at PwC Nigeria, he enrolled and took the required professional examinations and became a Chartered Certified Accountant and member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).

Tobi’s career advanced further when he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the United States, following a six-month executive training and U.S. tax immersion program at the Leventhal School of Accounting, University of Southern California.

There, he expanded his expertise in financial reporting through hands-on experience with U.S. GAAP practical experience, provided U.S. federal and international tax compliance and M&A. Having gained robust experience in accounting and taxation, Tobi pursued an MBA with a concentration in Finance at the prestigious Rice University. At Rice, he was selected as a portfolio manager for the Wright Fund — a part of the university’s endowment that supports student scholarships — where he evaluated and selected infrastructure companies to invest real capital from the fund.

Today, Tobi works at one of the largest financial institutions on Wall Street, advising clients across energy and infrastructure space.
