MAIDUGURI- THE Military Task Force in Maiduguri, Borno State, has killed three suspected gunmen, who had last Tuesday allegedly attacked Monday Market during which no fewer than nine traders were killed.
According to reports, the suspects were arrested following a tip-off that revealed their hideout in Bullabulin area of the metropolis.
Confirming the incident, the Joint Task Force Spokesman, Lt. Col. Musa Sagir, told newsmen that the “JTF acted on a tip-off following information from good Samaritans” and arrested some suspects who were in possession of AK47 rifles and ammunition ready to strike in the metropolis.
Sagir said 12 of the suspects were forced to relocate from Hausari area. He explained that during the search of the area, three of the suspected were gunned down while two others were arrested by JTF.
