With over two decades in the film industry, award-winning filmmaker Austin Faani has honed his craft as an editor, writer, director, producer, and cinematographer.

His latest project, Red Alert, recently premiered in Dallas, Texas, and is set to captivate audiences in Houston, Atlanta, Maryland, and New York.

The film features stellar performances from Jide Kene Achufusi, Tina Mba, Linda Osifo, Alex Usifo, and other talented actors. With a career spanning 20 years in the Nigerian film industry, Faani showcases his creative brilliance in this gripping story of love, family, loyalty, and betrayal—set against the intense world of drug cartels.

Red Alert also marks the breakout role of Nigerian-born heavyweight fighter Kizzy Uzoma (King Kizzy), who fully embodies the character “Ghost,” a formidable figure as powerful as he is in the boxing ring.

Filmed entirely in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, Red Alert launched its international tour with a premiere on March 9, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. The film will screen in Houston, Atlanta, Maryland, and New York before making its grand debut in Nigerian cinemas in 2025.
