Lifestyle and wellness company QNET has partnered with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, LFBI, to support 1,000 vulnerable children in the Makoko community of Lagos.

Through the EDUFOOD programme, the initiative provides nutritious meals and educational resources to address malnutrition and food insecurity among underserved students.

This collaboration, supported by QNET’s legal partner Transblue Limited, is part of QNET’s end-of-year social impact activities.

QNET’s Regional Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Biram Fall, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating, “Education and good health for children are the cornerstones of a thriving society. Partnering with LFBI allows us to make a tangible impact on vulnerable children’s lives.”

Also, Managing Director of Transblue Limited, Akeem Ajisafe, added, “This collaboration not only addresses food insecurity but also brings joy to young hearts, especially during the festive season.”

Executive Director of LFBI, Michael Sunbola, expressed gratitude for the support, noting, “QNET’s assistance enables us to reach more children, improving their health and unlocking their potential.”

The initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Zero Hunger (SDG 2) and Quality Education (SDG 4), highlighting QNET’s commitment to sustainable development.
