By Ibrahim Hassan-Wuyo

The Youth leader of Tijjaniya Islamic Sect in the whole of Africa , Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Umar, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to issue an Executive Order for the children facing treasonable charges in court, to be released and compensated.

Umar who is the Chairman of Aftech Industry Limited, his private company, said
“I was invited to Arewa House today, to wake our youths especially those from the North because most of the youths are sleeping.”

He said the interaction at Arewa House was robust due to the participation of Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas and his team, who told the youths to stop sleeping , wake up and take over their inheritance.

“Alhamdulillah, I believe with this call, the youths would wake up and do the needful. They should not fight on something that is of no importance to their lives,or to the citizens of Nigeria.”

“Nigeria is being faced with a lot of issues: Security, unemployment and more. But our youths are sitting as if all is well when all is not well.”

“I hope with this type of gathering that took place at the Arewa House, the country would change for good and the youths would come out and say ,yes they are ready to be the leaders of today.”

“It’s been long we’ve been hearing of ” leader of tomorrow ” when the tomorrow is not coming. So it’s better we wake up and ask our grand fathers who are still in the system to go and rest so that we can take over. We thank Almighty Allah that the gathering went well and may Allah take everyone back to his destination safely.”

Commenting on the incarceration of children by the Federal Government for alleged treasonable felony,Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Umar said detaining minors who could not differentiate their left from the right, was a bad signal to the world.

” We are calling on Mr.President, as a matter of urgency, to give an Executive Order for those children to be released and compensated. They were detained for 90 days for doing nothing. I hope President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the Federal Republic of Nigeria would heed to this call and ensure that he gives this order for the children to be released and be equally compensated,” he said.
