Explaining the concept of “Team Yourself Up” and the Indomie Fan Club, Manager and Coordinator, of the Club, Faith Joshua, said the initiative provides an engaging platform for children and parents to connect.
“Recognizing the challenges of many parents busy schedules, the initiatives encourages creative bonding experiences for them and their children. Leveraging school breaks like the August vacation, this program inspires kids to collaborate with family members to come up with creative ideas, have fun and collaborate with their parents, guardians, elderly relatives or any such adults who fit the role. The overriding idea is for children to team up with a adult family member, unleash their creativity, and win prizes,” she said.
In his remarks, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods, Temitope Ashiwaju said, “At the end of the day, what Indomie aims to achieve with this initiative is to engage with the children over a period of two months. We engage them by going to their schools and ensure that they team up with either their parents or their art teachers to create some of these artworks that have been seen here today.
“One of the beautiful aspects of the event is how the children of the fan club are being introduced to the concept of creating wealth from waste. These impressive artworks by the kid prodigies being witnessed here today can be auctioned, enabling children, parents and educators to convert creativity into tangible financial benefits, making room for resourcefulness and eco-awareness.” he said.
