Google has said it is pushing creativity with the launch of two game-changing features for its Gemini platform: Custom Gems and Imagen 3.

It said these innovations are designed to empower users with unparalleled customization and image generation capabilities, available now for Gemini Advanced, Business, and Enterprise users.

Senior Director, Product Management, Gemini Experiences, Dave Citron, said: “Gemini Advanced subscribers can now create Custom Gems, transforming Gemini into personal AI experts tailored to your specific needs.

“Whether you’re seeking coding guidance, career advice, or brainstorming ideas, Custom Gems offer the flexibility to craft AI-driven solutions for any challenge.

“With Custom Gems, users can now create a team of experts at their fingertips, ready to assist with complex tasks or provide inspiration whenever needed.”

Alongside Custom Gems, Gemini is rolling out Imagen 3, its most advanced image generation model yet. Imagen 3 offers users the ability to create high-quality, stylistically diverse images from simple text prompts. With enhanced safeguards and a focus on user control, Imagen 3 is setting a new standard in AI-driven creativity.

“Imagen 3 not only delivers stunning visuals across various styles but does so with a commitment to safety and ethical AI use,” Citron added.

Both features are now available to Gemini users in over 150 countries, marking a significant leap forward in Google’s AI offerings. As these features roll out, users can expect a richer, more personalized experience in the days to come.
