In a dazzling display of old school moves, veteran actress Shaffy Bello and US-based Nigerian singer Seyi Sodimu undoubtedly stole the spotlight at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA, with their epic performance of the latter’s 90s Afro-soul song, “Love Me Jeje, Love me tender”, leaving the large audience in awe.

Seyi Sodium, donning a striking hot blue outfit and a blue cowboy hat to match, while Shaffy wore a stunning outfit that showcased her glamorous style, kicked off their electrifying performance in a manner that elicited a feeling of nostalgia among those who were familiar with the classics that ruled the airwaves in the 90s and early 2000s.

Apparently, the atmosphere inside the Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, venue of the award show was somewhat charged when the duo stepped out to create magic on stage.

Seyi Sodimu, the original singer of ‘Love me Jeje’, joined Shaffy Bello for a special duet that has continued to generate buzz on the internet. The chemistry between the duo was amazing, as they sang in perfect harmony and brought the classic song to life in a new way again.
