Residents of Ago Palace Way in Lagos State have commended the efforts of Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, for implementing effective security measures that have improved safety in the area.

In a statement signed by Chief Chukwuma Igwe and Pastor Eugene Nnah respectively, the residents acknowledged that the security measures put in place by CP Fayoade since his assumption of office had led to a substantial reduction in reported cases of kidnappings and other criminal activities.

The residents described the CP’s approach as proactive, noting that his regular presence in the area, accompanied by a team of policemen from the Operations Department, had boosted vehicular patrols and ensured a visible police presence in previously volatile areas.

The statement read: “We, representatives of Ago Palace Way residents, are compelled to publicly commend the improved security situation in our area since the new Commissioner of Police assumed duties in Lagos State. We have witnessed the reassuring presence of policemen at former black spots, and they have been discharging their duties with diligence and courtesy. We are delighted to say that their strategic presence has enabled us to sleep peacefully.

The resulting peace has led to our businesses thriving until late at night, as any incidents are promptly addressed by the gallant policemen patrolling the area. We urge the police boss to ensure this trend continues, allowing us to conduct our businesses without fear of molestation or attacks.”
