In continuation of efforts towards youth development as well as advocating for youth in governance, a popular businessman and founder of Dr. SPAG movement, Daniel Owodunni has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to create a new breed of youths by getting them empowered and encouraging youth in governance.
He stated in an interview that “The impacts of unemployment on the youths especially the new generation known as Gen Z has now made most youth lose focus in nation building as well as national development. It’s important to note the role of youths in a developing nation like ours and I’m imploring the government across all levels to pay attention to the youths and to encourage inclusion in governance.”
He further stated that there’s a need to keep the youth engaged by providing job opportunities and as well to as engaging the majority of them in capacity building.
The founder of the Dr. SPAG movement who also doubles as a podcaster also called on the youths stating, “The youths need to know there is a season for everything, you have to show signs of readiness as well as joining hands in rebuilding the nation.
“Beyond these, Nigerian youths need to understand some mysteries that make life worth living and to always see life as a process that needs to be followed not to impress or oppress despising morality or risking what the future holds for them.
