A legal practitioner and public affairs commentator, Mr Jesutega Onokpasa, has described as untrue, mischievous and ridiculous a report credited to the Delta State chapter of the Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, that Asaba International Airport is uncompleted.

“Which pilot could land a plane on an uncompleted airport? Never has any governor developed Delta State to the extent that Dr. Uduaghan has done”, Onokpasa said in a statement.

“How many dual carriage ways, water projects, hospital construction and airports were undertaken in the past? With the Asaba International Airport alone, Governor Uduaghan has set himself apart as the first man in history to make an Aeroplane to land in Asaba, the state capital”, he stated.

“The projects of Governor Uduaghan are too numerous to mention and have impacted positively on the lives of countless Deltans. If the naysayers in the opposition cannot see that, it is only because they have nothing to offer and therefore cannot appreciate those who like Uduaghan have something to offer and have delivered on that potential.”
