BENIN- GOVERNOR Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has appointed the former Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Mr. Nosa Adams as Executive Director, Emergency Management.

Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Simon Imuekemhe, in a letter confirming Adams’ app-ointment, said it took effect from September 28.

It will be recalled that Mr. Nosa Adams decam-ped to Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in July.
Adams said: “I decided to jump out of a sinking PDP ship and join the group of progressives. I used to be the official spokesman of PDP in Edo State.

“I apologise sincerely for all the bad things I kno-wingly and unknowingly said about the Governor.”
