REGIONAL Centre for Bio-Enterprise Development, RCBD, is set to partner local and foreign investors on the Niger Delta Science, Technology and Bio-Industrial Parks at Sagbama, Bayelsa State, which can create more than 100,000 jobs in the region.
The Niger Delta Science, Technology and Bio-Indu-strial Park is a Federal Government initiative designed and to be developed in three clusters. It would be classified into the large-sized factory building, medium-sized factory building and small-sized factory building complexes. The industrial clusters comprise over 100 housing units.
RCBD’s National Coordi-nator, Mr. Monibidor Ebiowei, said: “All is now set for RCBD to partner with local and foreign investors to industrialise Niger Delta with sustainable projects that will transform the region. The Niger Delta Science, Technology and Bio-Industrial Park at Sagbama, Bayelsa State will industrialise the rural communities, reduce poverty, create jobs and enhance sustainable livelihoods for the people of Niger Delta region and the entire citizenry of Nigeria.”
